Kathryn and Lewis’ summer wedding at Stockton House was the perfect example of a relaxed, outdoor celebration in the Shropshire countryside. With a garden ceremony, drinks on the lawn, and a wedding breakfast in the venue’s hidden walled garden, their day felt effortless, personal, and full of warmth.
A Slow, Beautiful Start
They both got ready at the house, which always changes the energy of a day. No rushing between places. No pressure. Just everyone settling in, chatting, laughing, letting the morning unfold.
Kathryn was such a joy to be around funny, relaxed, completely herself and together, her and Lewis just had this really gentle, steady connection. Nothing forced. Nothing performative.
Just them, being them.

A Ceremony on the Lawn
They got married outside on the lawn in front of the house and honestly… it felt a bit magical.
Sunlight, greenery, everyone gathered close it had that soft, summery stillness to it. The kind where everything goes a little bit quiet at the right moments.
No big production. Just something simple and really, really lovely.

Drinks in the Garden & The Secret Walled Garden Dinner
After the ceremony, everyone spilled out into the gardens for drinks, soaking it all in.
And then… the wedding breakfast in the secret walled garden.
It suited them perfectly.

Couple Time
We snuck off to the nearby fields during golden hour and… this is where everything just clicked.
No awkward posing. No overthinking. Just the two of them, walking, laughing and soaking up the last of the sun.
It was one of those couple sessions where you don’t feel like you’re doing anything. You’re just there, witnessing it.
And I remember thinking this is it.
This is exactly what I want it to feel like.

One of Those Days You Don’t Forget
Driving home afterwards, I just felt… full.
You know when a wedding reminds you why you love this job? Not because everything was big or extravagant but because it felt real, warm and completely unforced.
Kathryn and Lewis created a day that was effortlessly them. Those are always the ones that stay with you.
